Pairing: Gen (Shuri, Aerrow)
Summary: "And then the story ended...for today"
"And then Shuri destroyed the evil Klayto Tine once and for all and saved the day!" Shuri announced dramatically, waving his stick like a true bane of evil. Aerrow simply chuckled and clapped slowly. Shuri smiled brightly (onii-sama liked it!) and sat down on the grass next to him.
"So, is that the end? What about Kimage who ran away from Shuri? What happens to him?" Aerrow asked, absently stroking Radarr's head. Shuri wondered if Aerrow gave headpats like that to people he met--(Once Shuri wrote a book a short story and everyone he showed it to said "how wonderful!". But the next day when he asked what was their favourite bit, they had already forgotten it)--and shook his head from such thoughts.
"That'll come later, onii-sama," Shuri said, chiding him, "You can't have it all revealed so quickly."
"Right," Aerrow said, smiling (he always smiled a lot but it's different from those other smiles he gives everyone else, Shuri knows because Shuri always knows that onii-sama likes him bestest), "It's getting dark...I better head back to the Condor."
Shuri pouted but there was no point arguing it. Honestly onii-sama had his priorities all wrong (just like everyone else who couldn't see that he was destined for greatness, why won't they let him shine?).
Aerrow ruffled his hair (and Shuri glowed when his mother laughed with him) and said, "You better have that story ready by tomorrow."
Shuri doesn't tell Aerrow that he's making it up as he goes along, but he thinks that no matter what he comes up with, Aerrow will enjoy it anyway.
And that matters the most.
